1:02 am
paying billions and billions of dollars and then give student loans, and they have to pay back the loans. so harvard's going to have to change its ways. >> why do you not. >> want the best and brightest from around. >> the world. >> to. come to harvard? i do, but a lot of the people need remedial math. did you see that? where the students can't add two and two and they go to harvard? how can somebody that can't add or has very basic skills? how do they get into harvard? why are they there? and then you see those same people picketing and screaming at the united states and screaming at, you know, they're anti-semitic or they're something. we don't want troublemakers here. >> i mean, isn't. >> that. >> just common sense? good old common sense. now, this is all part of the president's crackdown on antisemitism on college campuses and other schools. better take notice. >> harvard brought these consequences upon themselves. they have promoted and. >> allowed violent activity on

1:04 am
judges want to take over the united states immigration system, the united states foreign policy, what's next? national defense. and they just are snapping to. it's really because trump is trying to enforce a law here. students are here as guests from abroad. if they come here to not to learn, especially to do anti-american activity and especially anti-semitic violence, they do not belong here. and that's what this case is about now. >> absolutely. and, professor, i want to get you on this because it's not just these judges that have trump derangement syndrome. it's also the democrats in congress as well. so senators markey and blumenthal, well, they're very concerned about what will happen to poor little harvard. let's watch this. >> this is. >> authoritarianism on steroids. this is an attempt to intimidate universities across our nation. we have to fight every single day against this dictator. >> very serious escalation of pressure on harvard of the most pernicious kind, because what they're doing essentially is
1:05 am
using anti-semitism as a pretext. >> to crack. >> down on harvard's academic independence and freedom. >> so, professor, is this authoritarianism on steroids, or is he just standing up for jewish students? >> well. >> i think. >> he's standing up for our country more than anything. >> and jewish. >> students and other students on campus, the campuses have. turned into riot zones, the campuses have turned into takeovers, and a lot of it is fomented by the faculty and by outside groups. and harvard notoriously has failed to react to it. >> we remember. >> how disastrous the prior president was in congressional hearings. and so. there's a huge cultural gap that people are looking at in the country and saying, you know, harvard has turned into a bubble, which really in many ways opposes the country. and, you. >> know, there was a book written in 1978. >> called harvard hates america. and it's. >> still true, and people sense it. and people.
1:06 am
>> say, harvard can do whatever it. >> wants, but we don't have to pay for it. that's the issue. >> roger, i want to get you on this as well. so i know that you were the director of the hhs office for civil rights during the trump administration. so now, investigative findings from that office allege that columbia's handling of student on student harassment of jewish students over the past 19 months violated title six of the civil rights act of 1964. hhs alleged that columbia continually failed to protect jewish students by allowing the hostile environment created by some of its students to continue. so what legal obligations does columbia university have under civil rights laws to protect its students and prevent harassment? >> if you receive federal funds, you can't discriminate, and you certainly can't create jewish exclusion zones, as we saw with ucla. a federal judge found that very recently. this is ridiculous. campus after campus has declared no go zones
1:07 am
for jewish students. and in the first trump administration, we started the anti-semitism efforts. this has been going on for quite some time. this is long overdue. and now you had the tragic murder of two people in dc because of their jewish association, right? this is what happens when you have this fomenting of unrest, of dissension calls for violence on these campus. you start radicalizing people. we should not be funding these institutions. harvard could do just fine with its $52 billion endowment. there shouldn't be the woke ideology being funded by the american taxpayer anymore because people are being hurt. and in this case, anti-semitic violence and other cases. asian students and white students were being barred from a quota system that harvard imposed on admissions. and now the american people have said enough is enough with president trump, and they're taking action, right? >> you know, professor, as roger pointed out, in the backdrop of all these antisemitic protests and of that horrific murder of those two israeli embassy workers that you mentioned, we see this
1:08 am
activist, rebecca jones, speak out in favor of what happened two nights ago. now, she was upset that the murdered man posted online in support of his own country. watch this. >> he was a monster representing a foreign adversarial government, currently conducting. >> a holocaust. >> and they want us to. >> feel sorry for him. >> even if i hadn't looked at his. >> profile. >> i would have said that. >> representatives of a genocidal. >> country should. >> not feel safe in america because. we're supposed to stand in opposition to that. and now, having. >> seen it, good riddance. >> now, professor, where is the line between free speech and hate speech and incitement? >> well, people are allowed. >> to say ugly things. they're allowed to say hateful things as long as they don't act on it in a physical way. but what we've seen on the campuses is not speech. we've seen actions. we've seen intimidation, we've seen checkpoints, we've seen building takeovers, we've seen
1:09 am
trashing of buildings, we've seen threats. and of course, in d.c, we just saw an assassination. people need to understand that when they attack the jewish students, when they attack anti-semitism, when they engage in anti-semitism, that is a reflection of a much deeper problem on the campuses. the guy from columbia who's trying to be deported and he's fighting it. he ran a group whose stated goal was the destruction of western civilization in almost every one of these protests, when they burn an israeli flag, they also burn an american flag. so what you're seeing on campuses at its core is anti-americanism, anti-westernism, which is playing out as anti-semitism. >> well, you know, and of course, when these students call for the global intifada, or from the river to the sea, that's what they wanted. what happened in washington, dc, professor? and, roger, thank you so much. we appreciate your insight. >> we want to make our cars.
1:10 am
>> oh, it's a phone call. >> do you mind? hello? okay. it's only a congressman. >> from taking foreign students. >> it's a different congressman. they're all congratulating us. yeah, it's lucky it is. right. okay. let's go. >> i'm obsessed with that. he's just like us. also, this happened to me during covid when i was on tv. i'm sure everyone experienced that. all right, well, so, iphone users, this one's for you. president trump threatening apple with a 25% tariff for anything not made in the united states. but don't get too excited, you green text message android users you might be on the hook to. >> an apple. >> you said this morning that if they don't make their iphones. >> in the. >> us, you're going to hit them with a 25% tariff. >> do you have the. >> power to tariff one single company? and why would you want to hurt an american company in that way? >> it would be more. it would be also samsung and anybody that makes that product.
1:11 am
otherwise it wouldn't be fair. so anybody that makes that product and that will start on, i guess, at the end of june when they build their plant here, there's no tariff. so they're going to be building plants here. but i had an understanding with him that he wouldn't be doing this. he said he's going to india to build plants. i said, that's okay to go to india, but you're not going to sell it to here without tariffs. >> joining me now is john carney, breitbart economics and finance editor john, let's start with the most important question. who do you think was calling the president? >> i you. >> know, maybe it was tim cook pranking him, being. >> like. >> okay, you're going to raise my tariff. i'm going to call you at the most embarrassing moment you can. >> you know, so, so first it was apple, you know, and then later he sort of grouped in more smartphone companies. why apple initially do you think with that that truth post earlier today. >> i think it really was exactly what president trump said. he feels like he has a good relationship with tim cook. he felt betrayed when it
1:12 am
turned out that apple had no plans to build in the united states, no plans to make iphones in the united states, that if they got out of china, maybe they'd go to india. but they hadn't even really seriously considered, can we build this in the us? and so trump is saying, look, we it's not like india or china has some natural ability to do better at making iphones. we can make those here and we should be making them here. and so if you're not going to do it, that's fine. you'll just have to pay a much higher tariff. >> you know, the president was also asked about tariffs on the eu today. let's watch this clip. >> are you looking. >> for a deal. >> in nine days. >> will you be able. >> to do that sir. >> i'm not looking for a deal. i mean, we've set the deal. it's at 50%. but again, there is no tariff if they build their plant here. now, if somebody comes in and wants to build a plant here, i can talk to them about a little bit of a
1:13 am
delay. >> john, what do you think he wants from the eu. >> so the eu is a basically a protectionist club. it has free trade within the eu, but everybody else faces a almost unimaginably complex web of non-tariff barriers and tariffs. what he wants them to do is figure out why and how they keep out us products and start letting them in. europe has not been negotiating in good faith. they didn't. when donald trump was president in his first term. they're not doing it now. he's saying to and part of it is a structural problem. there are so many different countries in europe to get them all on the same page. negotiating in the same way is very difficult. so he's saying to them, get your act together. if you don't get your act together, if you don't come to us with a good trade deal, you're going to all face a 50% tariff. stop messing around with each other, come here, give us a good deal, and then the tariff will come down. or if you can't do that. by the
1:14 am
way, if you are a european manufacturer and your country can't get its act together, the second solution is build your plan. in the us you don't have to export from europe. you could just build it here in the us and you'll avoid all of those tariffs. >> and the president certainly holding everyone accountable. john we appreciate you. thank you. ahead. brand new video reveals how an activist judge tried to sneak an illegal immigrant out of court. stay tuned. >> say hello to the marzotto knife, a blend of art, science and tradition with a design inspired by japanese knife masters, each masato knife embodies more than just a tool. it's a testament to individuality, a piece reflecting refined taste and a commitment to culinary excellence. its versatility shines through, making it an ideal companion for every culinary adventure. amazingly sharp and ergonomically designed, the masato knife offers a comfortable grip,

you need now from your structured settlement call now. >> another example of the robed resistance, but now caught on camera. the angle brought you the story as it happened. an activist judge in milwaukee allegedly helping an illegal alien accused of assault evade arrest by ice agents. the new footage, released by milwaukee county in response to an open records request, shows two plainclothes ice agents waiting outside the judge's courtroom to identify and arrest eduardo flores ruiz. judge hannah duggan got word of their presence and came out to confront them. now, according to the complaint, the agents and judge disagreed over the type of warrant needed for the arrest. so judge duggan sent them to the chief judge's office. then she went further down the hallway, where more
1:20 am
plainclothes agents were waiting. and since up to the same age or same office at this point, the complaint says the judge escorted flores, ruiz and his attorney through the jury door into a nonpublic area of the courthouse. the illegal alien is then seen on camera walking through the hallway and out the jury door. but guess what? the judge didn't find all the ice agents. they follow flores ruiz all the way outside and he takes off running. but they nabbed him. and judge dugan's nasty scheme failed. she's now facing federal charges for obstruction of proceedings and for concealing a person to prevent arrest. here to react to this crazy story is jonathan fahy, former acting ice director, and rich scully, host of the rich zeoli show. jonathan, let's start with this. so the judge here pleaded not guilty, but she's on camera. so how is that going to work for her? you told me. >> well, yeah. >> that's standard.
1:21 am
>> typically for a defendant to plead not guilty. but these. the video. >> really shows. >> some appalling behavior. >> on a part, part of this judge. >> and what's. >> really amazing. >> about this, and it. doesn't get probably enough attention is this person. was facing. >> three assault. >> charges in which two people were. hospitalized as a result. >> of this. so this judge. >> walked him out the door knowing he wasn't coming back to her court or anywhere else because he knew he had an ice warrant out for him. so it's really absolutely outrageous that she did this. and what's even more outrageous is the democratic party, by and large, is supporting her illegal behavior. and it's really another example of the democratic party, this judge in particular, putting the safety of their citizens behind the interests of illegal aliens. but the whole thing is appalling. and her defense is probably going to be she's going to file she filed a judicial immunity motion, but that's ultimately going to fail, and she's really going to have to face the consequences of her actions. i believe. >> you know, and just to reiterate, you know, it's
1:22 am
important to note that she may have even obstructed justice to the victims of flores ruiz's three misdemeanor battery charges. she allegedly chose not to hold a hearing for him and kept his victims awaiting in the courthouse. so i can't wrap my head around this. so the judge here, you have victims, alleged victims of domestic abuse waiting in the courtroom to get their justice. but then she chooses the illegal alien that she sees as a victim. so, you know, how do democrats identify who a victim is these days? yeah. >> well, the democrats. >> are always on the side of the illegal alien in every instance, right? they don't care about the victims. >> we saw. >> this with the lincoln riley act. >> they just don't care. >> but this obstruction by this judge, very similar to the democrats in new york and new jersey. right. obstructing ice agents, shoving ice agents. the mayor of newark wanting to get arrested. lisa, they're doing this. they want this confrontation. they want to be the resistance. and these judges think what? i have a black robe. i can do whatever i want. i'm a member of congress. i can do whatever i want. no, this is their whole idea. they want to be famous, and they're getting famous, right? they're
1:23 am
getting all this media attention. they're. they're making money. they're raising money off of this. but the reality is the democrat party, if they're going to die on this hill, they're going to keep dying because the american people do not want to stand with criminal illegal aliens. they want to stand with the victims and their families, and they want justice. and they see this as what it is. lisa. political theater. and just to tee this up for the audience at home, this is so bad that the illegal alien allegedly strangled one of the victims. that's how bad this domestic abuse was and took place. all right. so. so, jonathan, the judge randomly assigned to judge dugan's case is lynn edelman. in 2020, he wrote in the harvard law review, ripping into the hard right supreme court. and he said trump has the temperament of an autocrat and that trump is disinclined to buck the wealthy individuals and corporations who control his party. so i feel like all of this with both of these judges just undercut this broader concern from conservatives that these judges are so biased and incapable of doing their jobs. >> yeah, it really does raise
1:24 am
that concern when a judge makes those sorts of public statements. it does show can they really be fair and impartial if they're so politically motivated? and i think that's a concern in this case, particularly with the judicial immunity motion that that this judge has filed. fortunately for the trump administration, if this judge rules against him on that motion, they'll be able to appeal it to a higher court. and ultimately, they're going to prevail, because no serious court is going to say a judge has immunity to obstruct justice and sneak criminal defendants, violent criminal defendants out the courthouse door. it's an utterly absurd motion, and that's really her core defense at this point. but i think the overall point is really scary is the democrats have gone from defaming law enforcement, defaming ice to now essentially sanctioning violence in new york and sanctioning obstructing justice here in milwaukee. and it really is a troubling trend. and just in the last, just this year, the assaults on ice agents have gone up, i think,
1:25 am
413%. and really, a lot of the rhetoric contributes to this. >> yeah. and rich, to jonathan's point, i mean, speaking of these democrats protecting criminal illegals, congressman glenn ivey of maryland will travel to el salvador to check on rodrigo garcia. and in a lengthy statement, he said this or his office said this, that he's going to meet with leaders, officials and hopefully my constituent, this president and administration needs to prove their assertions under oath and in court. last time i checked, an illegal alien is not a constituent. am i missing something? no, you're not missing anything. and the question i have is going to be margarita or skinny margarita with rodrigo garcia. these democrats look like fools, lisa. they're going down to el salvador to try to bring back to america a criminal. we have enough criminals in this country. the purpose of immigration, as you know, is to bring in people who america needs. we don't need more wife beaters. we don't need more domestic abusers. we don't need more criminals. we have plenty. and the american people want these people gone. the fact
1:26 am
that a democrat would choose to travel to another country, to try to get a citizen of another country back into this country, who happens to be a criminal, shows you just how crazy the left has become. i mean, they are so out of touch with the american people who in their right mind would sit around at a bar and go, yeah, you know what? this is definitely what you guys should do. go and bring a criminal back to the united states of america. we applaud you. we stand with you. they are so completely out of touch with the american people. for the record, i would do a skinny margarita. skinny. it's almost summertime, you know, you've got to got to stay trim. but i would not have it with a, you know, alleged ms. 13 guy in el salvador. fair point. but what you do have with ice agents. were you guys after the show? yes. salt on the rim of course. all right. just checking on. yeah. all right. we covered the important things, what we did, and then we got a little off the rails. all right, jonathan and rich, thank you so much. appreciate your time. all right. coming up rfk jr schools, the liberal media. stay tuned. >> don't buy viagra or cialis

said that. actually. >> i was saying it every day. >> we took the. >> briefings, live every day with all the experts that brought doctor fauci. >> doctor, i can tell you what president trump did right and what president biden did wrong. >> joining me now is doctor nicole saphier, fox news contributor. and my friend that was in the prompter, i added that doctor sapphire. i love having you on. i appreciate you making the time tonight. so we got really close during covid. we bonded over the insanity that was going on in the country, and we wanted common sense to prevail. finally has. but it's taken a while. i get what the secretary is saying in this interview, but what we saw during covid is that sometimes both the experts and the science can be wrong. so who do we trust in that environment? >> well, so first of all, lisa, and yes, you're my friend as well, but i think it's really important to say that that's the most important thing that we get in. >> this entire message. >> i think. >> it's really important to say that the. >> experts were wrong,
1:37 am
undoubtedly. but science is never actually wrong. science is just ever evolving. it's not a monolith. and so especially when it came to covid, we were getting information. >> by the not. >> not by the day, but by the hour. >> maybe even by the minute. and it was actually very difficult to report from that. but here's the biggest. >> hiccup that happened. during covid. you had two. >> different things happening. you had people like me who we had no idea. what was. >> going on. i mean, initially i was saying, you know, maybe we should. >> be wiping down packages. >> maybe we should be staying home, maybe we should be doing some. >> of these things. that the public health experts at the cdc and the nih and even the w.h.o. >> were saying. but after a very short amount of time. >> things started. to get. >> a little. >> a little tricky. it didn't seem like anything was changing. >> although we were getting more information, we knew it was a coronavirus. >> which is. >> a respiratory virus, which means that contract transmission, like on packages is not really. a thing. so all of a sudden maybe i wipe down packages for 48 hours and then i was like, okay guys, never mind, we shouldn't be wiping down packages. this doesn't
1:38 am
make any sense. but the problem you had, so people like me who have no problem admitting when they're wrong because let me tell you, i can. i'm wrong a good amount of the time. i mean, that's just what being human is all about. but the good thing about someone who is in the health field, who is a person of science like myself, is that as data comes in, as research evolves, we then change our recommendations. and one of the biggest problems or missteps that we saw during the covid pandemic was that you had these other talking heads or these other so-called experts that even as the data evolved, they did not change their recommendations. i mean, one of the most blatant examples is rochelle walensky, former cdc director under president biden before she became cdc director in in emails that she was sending to local school districts before she became the cdc director. when they were asking about spacing with kids and how far apart they should be. she was saying three feet is probably enough. well, as soon as she became cdc director, she just hopped on board with whatever the talking points were, were, okay, now we're doing six feet. and
1:39 am
therefore, because the teachers union were so involved in that, so intricately involved, they're like, never mind, kids can't come to school in public school districts because we can't we can't do the six feet. so it wasn't about science. it was just about public perception. and then you've if you even go to 2020. >> well, yeah. and to your point, there was also i mean, early on in the pandemic, we had those antibody studies from both stanford. i think there was one done at miami university as well as here in new york, showing us that a broader portion of the population had covid, which would mean that the fatality rate was much less than what they were telling us, and we still didn't adapt our strategies. or you can fast forward to the vaccines. and there was a you know, there was a bunch of cluster of cases in provincetown, massachusetts, i believe it was july of 2021 and 75% of the cases were vaccinated. yet they still pushed the fact that the vaccines would stop the spread of covid, despite the cdc being fully aware of this, these breakthrough cases in provincetown, massachusetts. so
1:40 am
i think that was our mutual frustration. to your point, is that even when we knew better, they still lied to us. they didn't adjust policy. >> lisa, you you have actually become a brilliant journalist throughout covid, and you absolutely hit the nail on the head. so when we talk about science, we talk about ever evolving science. science can be flawed. research can be flawed, especially when it's produced by the industry. we had a lot of industry produced science that came out of covid. the one thing that they continued to do was they continued to not give us the big picture. when they were talking about covid cases. they certainly were not using seroprevalence data. so they were making things to seem more severe, more severe morbidity, more severe mortality. they actually were downplaying the negative consequences of the vaccines, because they were only studying people in the hospital and not the general population who have all been exposed to covid. it was a huge problem. it was a lot of flawed science. make america healthy again is a great endeavor in the sense that they are going forward saying, we are going to do true science, but i can tell you they need to be careful.
1:41 am
they need to make sure that they are fully transparent. they cannot be going with all of their studies on vaccines and herbicides. they have to make sure there's not going in with preconceived notions, and it has to be a complete, independent review to regain that public trust, which we so deserve. >> and doctor saphier flattery will get you everywhere. so i appreciate the comment. and before we go, i'll give it back to you. you were one of the you know, you're one of the godmothers of make america wealthy again. and also you were one of the rare voices in the media, you know, trying to bring a lot of this stuff to light the truth to light during covid. so i appreciate you. and i'll send the flattery back your way. doctor nicole saphier, great to see you tonight, my friend. appreciate it. all right. coming up, an obama bro admits why he hid biden's decline. and chicago's progressive mayor is under fire for his racist comments. >> did you say 12:00? okay. see you tomorrow at 12. i can't hear clearly on the phone anymore. >> let me show you something that will change your life. this is a clear caption phone.

uncovering the plot, reporting that a ccp agent pretending to be a student approached several real students through social media using the alias charles chen. now one of the students, anna, was conducting sensitive research on china when she started getting messages from him. they started out benign, but she says they grew persistent and personal. chen asked anna if she spoke mandarin, urged her to visit beijing on his dime, and advised her how long she should stay to avoid visa scrutiny. now here's the scary part. anna told the stanford review that chen referenced details about her that she never told him. anna eventually contacted authorities, who discovered that chen had posed as a stanford student for years, targeting multiple women researching china related topics. laura spoke earlier about this with gordon chang, gatestone institute senior fellow in china. expert. let's watch together. >> gordon, you and i are not surprised by this story. other people. watching might be, but the stanford review writes that

the experts think chen is an agent of the chinese ministry of state security. what could they be looking for? and how dangerous is this gordon? >> they're looking for a couple of things, laura. >> first of all, they would like. to know about research at stanford. they want to know where priorities. >> are, what's. >> going to be done. >> next, and. >> of course, the fruits of that research. but they also want information so that they can coerce students in the future. and the. >> other. >> thing is, you know, generally what they want to do is make sure that students stay in line while they're in the u.s. so there's all sorts of things of monitoring and surveilling that the ministry of state security. >> and chinese. >> consular officials actually engage in. >> well, i know the trump administration is all into making a deal with china. and, you know, we'll see how that all develops. ultimately, when all the details are come out. but this stands as a real threat, i think, to american

security. we have about, what, 400,000 chinese students in the united states right now studying. are all of them approved in some way, shape or form gordon. by the ccp? >> well, certainly the regime knows who wants to come and study for the u.s. and they look into their backgrounds. so someone who the regime doesn't want here is very unlikely to get to the united states. so, yes, this is very carefully vetted on the part in beijing. and they're going to continue to do this because we allow them to. so this is going to be an issue where not just at stanford, but at all institutions, where you find chinese students. >> according to recent data, gordon from the department of education, china's given stanford at least $183 million since 2005, in the form of gifts and other contracts. and everyone has to remember that universities are only required to report foreign gifts and contracts of more than

$250,000. okay, so china has poured, you know, in 2024 alone $175 billion with a b into u.s. schools. gordon. that is a staggering staggering figure. >> it is. and we know that many administrations have not enforced those federal reporting rules. it was only really in the first trump administration, when betsy devos was secretary of education, that they actually started to go after, for instance, the ivy league schools that had completely violated their obligations on reporting. you know, we need to drop that threshold much lower. and we need to start looking at all of this money coming in, because obviously it does redirect the way that these schools treat students. and they allow the chinese consular officials and ministry of state security agents to monitor them. and they also allow the chapters of the chinese
